How to talk to your doctor about menopause
Hey, it's Dr. Betsy Greenleaf. Welcome to plusOne Ask the Expert.
Today we're talking about how to bring up menopause with your OB GYN, because this conversation matters.
Number one, don't wait for your doctor to bring it up. Say something like, "I think I'm experiencing menopause symptoms, and I'd like to explore my options."
Tip number two, jot down what you're experiencing. Everything from hot flashes, brain fog, low libido, sleep struggles, the more details the better.
And tip number three, menopause care isn't a one size fit All. Ask about hormones, non hormones, and lifestyle changes to find what works for you. Your health is your priority.
Be proactive, ask questions and get the support you deserve. If you have a question, reach it out to plusOne, because we could be answering your question next.
