What is a Cervical Orgasm?
Hi there. I'm Dr. Taylor Nolan. I'm a licensed psychotherapist and a certified sexologist, and I'm here to answer a wonderful question submitted by the plusOne community.
It is, what are cervical orgasms?
So happy to see this question asked because it's not talked about a lot. Okay? In cervical orgasms, they can be really great and they can also be kind of painful.
So the cervix is about three to four inches up inside the vagina, and it's not getting penetrated, but it's getting stimulated, right? So with that pressure that you feel on the cervix, it can give you an orgasm.
Many people report experiencing pleasure from this, but it can also be pretty painful. So go slow, be gentle, communicate with your partner about how you're feeling. It can, you know, people report it really spreading throughout the whole body. Kind of starting like coming up in the stomach through the abdomen.
So now you know about cervical orgasms. I hope that this was helpful. Be sure to stay tuned to see what questions I answer next.
